UN ESCAP and UN-Habitat invite cities and towns in Asia and the Pacific to join the project “Integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into local action in support of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Asia and the Pacific”.

The aim of this multi-year project is to assist pilot cities in undertaking a participatory process that works towards transforming their urban resource management into more sustainable systems. Through a locally-driven co-learning process, urban stakeholders will strengthen evidence-based and integrated decision-making approaches. The focus is on jointly initiating or revising a local plan or initiative and implementing prioritized activities that enhance sustainable urban resource management and contribute to the city’s progress on the 2030 Agenda.
